Fellows<\/h2><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>In 1969, ASM established the Fellow of the Society honor to provide recognition to members for their distinguished contributions to materials science and engineering and to develop a broadly based forum of technical and professional leaders to serve as advisors to the society.\u00a0 ASM will recognize the 2025 Class of Fellows at the Annual Awards The researchers trained an AI model on this and other images during the various phases of electroplating. They then used their generative diffusion-based AI model approach to help establish efficiencies in their process by reducing the need for extensive physical experiments when optimizing new materials and processes. Electroplating is important to their work as it improves a material\u2019s corrosion resistance and increases durability.
